I shook my head, scratching in the dirt as best I could : She left.

I studied the ground below me. It looked like Ashley had tried to write, "She left.". It looked pretty jumbled and weird, though.
"Okay, good." I said and hopped down from the tree.

I would have to write if i was going to talk with her, I figured, so I wiped out the writing and scratched instead, 'Where r the others' as best I good, text chat always came in handy.
