Spring in The Forest

Okay, I'll just tell my dad Then I ran off, changed behind a tree and ran into the house.
"Dad! Ashley and I are going to see a movie!" I shouted and grabbed my wallet off of the counter.

I ran throughout the forest, running back to Gina's house and phasing, getting back into my clothes really fast.

I phased and carried my clothes in my mouthing, loping around and occasionally dropping the clothes and howled, then picking them up again. Then I remembered Sarah. Sarah, oh Sarah?

I woke up, not even realizing I had accidentally fallen asleep. I snarled to myself, but off in the distance heard someone calling my name. Yeah? Who is it? If it's those girls, Ashley or Gina, DON'T talk to me! I growled again, slowly getting up and stretching.

I growled at Sarah and kicked a rock in disappointment. So much for help! I trotted away, wondering if I should bother Gina with this. I was so tired I started running back, clothes in my mouth. I phased, and told Deven I was going to sleep, but it seemed like he was already half-asleep on the couch. I ran upstairs and jumped onto my bed, getting just enough time to pull the bed sheets back onto the bed before I fell asleep.

I ran out into the forest. I still carried my clothes in my mouth and sat down, waiting for Gina.

I ran into the forest (in wolf form), and threw my clothes onto the ground. My uncle came behind me.
This is my uncle. He wanted to help us look for your dad.
"Did you tell her?" My uncle asked. I howled to say yes.

I dropped my clothes on the ground too and said, Thanks Gina. Does your uncle know that this is me?

Yeah, my dad spilled the wolf secret. I snickered. But he knows all about wolves and there history - he is my uncle, isn't he?

She seemed very... wierd. And mysterious.
"Lets go looking now!" My uncle shouted. "Spread out! I'll stay close by the house and look. You guys can go deeper into the forest and look." He said. "I'll holler if I see anything."

Where do you think Aubrey and the others went? I wonder if we could catch human scents? I sniffed the ground and tried to catch any scents.

I don't know. Probably wanted to get away from us. I sniffed the ground.

All I smell is deer.And maybe some hikers that came through this forest earlier.Or maybe they're not hikers! I started running.

I chased Ashley, unsure of what she was looking for.

I stopped a few hundred yards away from the people, trying to remain unseen. It wasn't my dad. I growled in frustration.

I have an idea. Stay here. I'll be back in a minute. I ran back to wear my clothes were, phased and put on the clothes. Then I ran back to Ashley.
"I'm gonna ask them if they saw your dad." I said to her.
"Excuse me, hikers?" I called out.
"Yeah?" One of them said.
"Have you seen a man anywhere near by who looked lost or hurt?" I asked since I didn't know what Ashley's dad looked like.
"Ummm... we heard something like a half hour ago. Sounded like a cry for help." The girl said.
I swallowed hard. "Thank you." I said. I was about to walk off when I remembered. "Where did the cry come from?"
"Far out, deep deep in the woods." She said.
"Kay, thanks." I ran to Ashley, knowing she heard it all.

I whimpered a bit like a sad dog, and nodded to Gina. I mouthed the words, "Phase and let's go." As best as I could, and took off, running by the men so fast I might have been some weird shadow to them.

I phased behind a tree like always and took off after Ashley. I ran quickly past the hikers and hoped they didn't notice me that much.

I ran for about five minutes. not knowing how much ground I had covered, and stopped. I listened for any noises. Nothing. I howled, hoping my dad would respond somehow to that, but I heard nothing. I walked around, before I continued to run and stop, run and stop and listen and howl.

As I was running through the forest behind Ashley I heard my uncle shout, "Guys! I heard something! Like a human!". When I heard him I imediatly ran to the edge of the forest where I knew he was.
